If they revamp the controls to be like RE4, it might be good. So many people I know complained about RE5's controls that it has me on the fence. Im a HUGE RE fan, but the "meh" feedback I've been getting has been a bit of a letdown thus far.

For so long I wanted this game to come to the Wii... until I actually played it. I'd probably buy it just because I have to buy RE stuff haha but man I would not be anywhere as excited as I would have been.

Maybe RE5 for the Wii can also be a complete reinvention of the story as well.

Why should it be impossible ? Thats just an excuse every game is possible on the WII or even on the Ps2. Even Crysis but with Worse graphics, simpler textures, no HD and probably a different/modified Engine. But you could make Resident Evil 5 on Wii it wont look anywhere near the PS3 or 360 Versions but it could be the same game with same locations and Wii Grade Graphics.

they did the same thing with dead rising. why not capcom? i will buy the port just because i've enjoyed the dead rising wii port. my thing is if capcom can make remakes of the original resident evils with wii controls. why not a port of resident evil 5?

It's already a poor game. It'd just be even worse. You don't want to be stuck with that AI Sheva.

Why don't they make a Wii version then port it to Ps3 for the wand version. Surely that would be the logical thing to do.

I was looking at down the road if given a decision between the 'alternate' edition or the wii edition...those would be the criteria to look at

I don't know what to think...RE5's gameplay sucked on others consoles...RE4's one was great on Wii...mmm...
