I think they also said it would be exclusive to PS3 once, a very long time ago. I'm not entirely sure, though.

Things change. And like I said in the OP, I believe SE stands to make more money by getting this out for the holidays, rather than whatever MS is paying them for simultaneous release in March or April or whenver.

i stongly think that this rumor woild apply to the western market if true. because the japanese will only be getting the PS3 verison of the game and not a 360 verison. Where in America the game is 360 and PS3 and it would make sense for the PS3 to get a head start.

Wow, what the hell. You know FF games have always gotten released ages later outside of Japan, right? If they had the ability (or rather, the motivation) to release it at the same time in the US/EU, I'm sure they would. But they don't, and they never did. Getting it in March/April is way earlier than I'm used to from Square, so I'm happy.

This isn't a rumor, just a prediction. That makes it even less credence than a rumor. Just sticking my neck out, that's all.
