I would highly recommend Demon's Souls, but IDK if its a better choice than Dragon Age as I haven't played it. Demon's Souls is very addictive and like you said, its very time consuming so having another game to play would be a bad idea. Oh, and Demon's Souls has your shield

Lol. I actually saw a pic and description of that boss and immediately wanted to change my screen name.
Thanks alot but I would really like to get the opinion of someone who played both games as I already know I will like them both regardless, I'm just looking for reasons to tip the scales in one's favour.
If you have a PC then Dragon Age might be the way to go. If not then I highly recommend Demon's Souls. The reason I say that is that the console and PC versions of Dragon Age seem to be completely different experiences and the console version is not the better of the two.

Really? This could be big.
What exactly do you mean by different? Other than the obvious graphical differences, does the control scheme not transalate well to consoles (it should just follow mass effect is what I'm thinking). I'd also imagine the story path is the same.
I was looking specifically for these mentions in reviews.
In the PC version you can do an overhead view which allows for more tactical thinking and the game is significantly more difficult to scale for that fact. The console version is slightly (and I hate to use this term) dumbed down. This is atleast what Naznatips has told me while trying out both, if you want details you would probably be best served asking him.

Thanks alot, however this may all come to naught if my PC can't handle it lol, he 's a bit on the geriatric side.
