Think this chart proves just how stupid reviewers are and how they get carried away with hype for the hugely hyped games.

It scored lower than Wii Play, it deserves to be called ass.

Mario Kart Wii is selling that good because it comes with that wheel controller and it was soo much diffrent than other MK games.

NSMB Wii won't be that much diffrent than other mario games

Updated. IGN UK just reviewed and gave it 9.4/10, higher than US and AU IGN.

One thing that bothered my was that one reviewer called the motion controls 'gimmicky'.

I thought the motion controls in NSMBW was particularly well implemented and had you doing things you couldn't do otherwise (that being said, I haven't gotten too far in the game yet).

I think some people will call any motion controls on the Wii gimmicky, no matter how they are implemented.

They do.  More accurately, many reviewers will call a game gimmicky for using motion controls.  Yhen downscore a game for NOT having motion controls.

Part of the whole comment I made in another thread about the Wii being stuck in a Catch 22 where it can never please reviewers.  Yet reviewers will praise or even upscore HD games for essentially doing the same thing over and over again in terms of gameplay.

I don't take that to mean it sucks.  If Modern Warfare 1 was an incredible game than adding .5 doesn't make it worse.  I take that to mean that it doesn't really have many changes from the first one, not that it's a bad game.
