Forums - Nintendo - Call of Duty: MW Reflex 1st week sales

Sure is and I predicted it'd sell very similar to WaW, I'll try to find that :P So yeah it's good for me too hehe of course we'll have to see how it holds up over it's lifetime too.

Hopefully Activision promote it, I have an odd feeling they won't :S

Most likely they will after the first rush of MW2 sales, since with the Wii it's about legs and sustaining sales.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

What do you think?

I think I won't doubt you since you were spot on last year with World at War.

When I picked up MW1 at Walmart on Friday, the workers kept asking me if I was sure that I had the right game. After the 3rd person asking that, it got a little annoying. I told them that if I wanted to play MW2, Id play it on the best system, the PC

Except they hosed the online. There are youtube vides of horrendous lag. I mean the screen freezes, and you're then suddenly at the position you were walking towards.

That's the beauty of the PC tho. The rants and raves will lead to a patch that will fix that all within a month or so. Nothing is as final on a PC as it is on the consoles, though with the HD units, its become a little more patch friendly with the hdd's. Regardless, by the time Im ready for MW2, it'll be all fixed up and running smoother and sharper than any other versions.

Wow, 70,000 according to VGChartz? I'm afraid that is a little high, as that would mean that over 50% of the buyers haven't gone online yet.

Good news though. 70,000 is a great number for a 2 year old port.

If it is true, COD:MWR should sell 10x that amount in the long run.

I'd estimate final sales numbers will even be around 15 times week one. Look at WaW, it even sold about 22 times week one, and isn't even done selling!

15 x 700k = over nine one million!
