Forums - Nintendo - I just want to let everyone know Excitebike ROCKS!

Hands down my favorite game on wiiware.  Top 5 overall, it is addictive and fantastic gameplay.  Some of the most fun I have had on the wii yet.  I would highly recommend this to anyone that loves can't put it down, want to throw the remote at the TV type games.  Best $10 I ever spent!

Cool. I never really got into Excite in the ol' NES days of yore. I'll throw this into the grand pile of WiiWare games that I'd like to buy if I weren't burning through Wii points at an alarming rate already.

Tell me more.

I bought it as well. I thought its pretty tough. You have to be able to look ahead at the same time as watching your motorist. Most of my throw Wiimote at TV moments happen when I end up running into another player. Choice words usually commence when that happens.

Wiiware is cool, i've been getting into it more lately. World of Goo is close to my favourite game this gen, i'm currently loving Winter of Melodies and now i have to think about getting Excitebike, damn you!

give me 900 points

so is there any differences with the NES one? I have just seen a video and it seems like the exact same thing with better graphics. I'd honestly rather get the NES one in that case.

currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

Online play. I think you can save multiple edit tracks.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Don't forget about Dr. Mario! That game has given me countless hours of pure entertainment, probably more than half the retail Wii games I own.. I tell you though, some of those people online are just BRUTAL, even for a seasoned Dr. Mario vet like myself.

now why couldn't Nintendo have made Excitebike into a fully fledged wii game instead of that god-awful ExciteBots
