So there may be around 170K Xbox 360's sold in NA this week

With so much in NA can xbox 360 end up OUTSELLING PS3 this week WORLDWIDE? Basically breaking a 2 month long winning streak?

It should do if the numbers will be 170+ in NA.

It will sell around 250K - 300K (Xbox 360)

with PS3 just at 250K it should be beaten this week anyway

WW - NO / PS3 is too high in Japan for that to happen.

XBOX 360 sold 70K more in NA this week compared to last week. But PS3 outsold 360 by 90K WW last week. PS3 still wins, unless its sales drop and 360 gets a boost in other regions.

err, the walmart report that gave 170k for the 360 also stated 100k for the ps3 even if not as directly.

Maybe. I 'd really love to know who's funding that Wal*Mart deal. I reckon it has to be MS, why would Wal*Mart want to burn $100 of their money per console. I can only assume MS, seeing recent Slim sales, decided they're rather spend a fair amount of money to give themselves a decent change to stay ahead of PS3 in US.

Does PS3 have any comparable deals, or is Sony just banking on current price, etc?
