The Wii is the greatest Nintendo console of all time. Mainly due to VirtualConsole, who can argue a past console was better when you can get so many of the past games on your Wii today. I however differ in opinion about the Wii series, I see the series as nothing short of a total money grab. Develope cheap games that require little to know modling , no physics or graphics engines, just bare bones material (Tech demo) and then sell that material at full price (WiiMusic).

I would have prefered seeing Nintendo leave the casual market to the third parties. I know I know if the Wii series never existed third parties wouldn't see the hidden potential and casual gaming as we know it would not exist. But lets face it, were all Nintendo fans here. What would you rather have a new WiiMusic/WiiFit/WiiPlay/WiiSports or a new Donkey Kong , StarFox , Kirby , Kid Icarus, Pilotwings?

If you say you'd rather see another Wii title over a new StarFox or Donkey Kong then you my friend are misguided. I just wish Nintendo had stuck with its hardcore market rather then flooding the Wii with casual titles. Yes I know Nintendo can churn out a dozen Wii titles for the same price as a single AAA+ title, inturn meaning more profit and their are more casual gamers around then hardcore. But lets face it I would much rather have seen Kirby Wii at E3 then WiiSportsResort or WiiFitPlus!

Wii is a dam fine console to be sure.

There are lots of great games coming soon for the Wii, and many special games came out this year, as Punch Out, Little King Story, Muramasa and A boy and his blob.
I think both Xboxers and PS3ers should really consider getting a Wii as a second console. I think they will hardly regret it.

The complaining has abated a bit as of late on the internet at large, except on GoNintendo, where fair-weather Nintendo fans seem to flourish

I'm happy with mine, playing all sorts or games, my favourite console indeed. guidic is probably the most wide-minded person on this site with some others coming close.

The reason that there are people complaining about the Wii on this forum is because it is mostly Sony fans posting the information. They think that by complaining about the Wii, they can make people not buy it.

Yes, I'm ashamed of my Wii. Sometimes I wish I can get excited about things more.

I love the Wii. It gets far more use (from me) than my 360. Although Dragon's Age should change that for a month of two.
