Aparently, the psp go was a flop when it released in japan last week. Or was it.....

The answer is no, the psp go WAS NOT A FLOP. According to vghcartz in this weeks japan preview, the psp go is expected to sell up to 100k units this week in japan!!! How did it go from 28k to 100k in its second week of release you ask? Well, vgchartz is about to tell you.

"Expect PSP hardware sales to rise into the 75,000 to 100,000 unit range this week as the PSP Go was only available for one day last week, and Famitsu reported it sold 28,000 units in that day."

So, to all those threads saying that the psp go japan release was a flop, I guess you didn't do your research that it was only released for 1 day. So that means it sold 28k in one day, which is fairly impressive.

Thoughts?

I hope it succeeds worldwide. I'm a supporter of digital downloads if there are price dynamics in place for the content. But until we get that dynamism, the thing needs to be successful first.

It doesn't hurt that it's sexy and feels so nice in your hands and its controls are a charm to operate.

well it was relase on the last day of teh week sold it sold that much in 1 day. but i hope PSP Go fails i like buying games
