This would in theory push the amount into 2 years. Not including anything else that would be a hell of an effort. Thus i conclude for world wide not likely. Little things like the Natal may definitely get in the way of your prediction unfortunately. And between you and me, I think that Microsoft saw the PS3 slim coming a mile away, something is getting planned (dunno what) but something. So all in all I personally thing a sill prediction from yourself... That was fun, lets dance again shall we? |

I remember arguingwith Kowenicki a long time ago, when I just joined the VC forums on how PS3 would eventually take Others. >) We shoulda made a bet back then.. sadly, I didn't know VG users made bets. :( The ignorance of my newbishness to VGC.
Microsoft consoles only seem to shine for 4 years before dying. XBox was released in 2001 and was dead by 2005. 360 2005 to 2009. Natal is more or else an add on like the 32X was for the Genesis to extend the life and will probably sell for almost as much as a console. The way I see it, once you add on all the extra features that the 360 doesn't come with but that the PS3 does come with they more or less cost the same. If the price is the same, might as well by the one that will keep you gaming for 10 years ie PS1, PS2, PS3. Main reason I've avoided anything Xbox and stuck to the Playstation line.

No 32X was a cd drive pretty much
where as Natal can revolutionise not only gaming but technology world wide. Bare with me, a lot of companies imo will see how it goes, if it works how it does on the youtube video about the whole family getting involved in natal, ie switching screens with hands etc, or even close, then it will be a game breaker and win to 360. Happy to bet on that, oh and i will bet with someone that Natal will SEVERELY increase xbox sales for at least 2 months after it is sold, i am happy to go with 6 months for a less severely increase :)
