Just 30 days to come.... why am I crying blood?.. can't wait.. can't wait.. I'm devouring every 2d mario but I can't anymore
Question: How is it the nunchuck gameplay and... does the free play mode count the points you collected and enemies you killed like in e3

I play sideways Wiimote, never tried with the nunchuk

I'm pretty sure you can only play with the sideways Wiimote.

"Now, a fun game should always be easy to understand - you should be able to take one look at it and know what you have to do straight away. It should be so well constructed that you can tell at a glance what your goal is and, even if you don’t succeed, you’ll blame yourself rather than the game. Moreover, the people standing around watching the game have also got to be able to enjoy it." - Shiggy

I just got to world three and I already got the super guide on world 3-1 and world 3-2. This game is hard. I've been playing too many FPS I think.

i now have to go back and try to get all the star coins, and theres a level or two from each world i haven't even played yet, guess i better get to them too :D

come try out the computer game i've been working on for my high school senior project, titled sling ball. http://vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=76669&page=1

you can view a few screenshots from the game in my photo album here; http://www.vgchartz.com/photos/album.php?album=2312

yes, this is vonboy's alt account. i can't log into my original account, and i'm not sure if i will ever be able to.

No you can play with the nunchuk, its in the manual, but its not the recommended method

So how many people know what happens when you get 99 lives?

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

The second fight with Noname was easier than the first.

Sorry.

Maybe, but at least I was fun and creative!

@Noname As I thought. You basically have to practice levels over and over again individually.

Gnizmo already covered this, but you don't have to: it's more the system that you're learning, not the levels. I was pretty rusty when I first started (I got hit by the third goomba...) but by now I can string jumps on pretty much any stage with ease: once I know when bullet bills are coming, I can do the 1ups all day).

Ok, now I have to go collect every coin in the game. The reward is beyond sublime. It is everything I could have hoped for and more. I wouldn't dare ask for anything better. There are no words that can hope to accurately portray the glee I felt collecting the reward for just three of the levels. It is the most wonderful throw back to SMW.

Now I have to wonder: what's the reward for getting all the coins in that world...?

Considering how the game hands lives out like party favors, I'd say everyone who's at World 3!

I would figure as much, but no one posted about it on the game wall and I'm too lazy to dig through 21 pages (~500) posts.

That's 'cause it's a secret that was spoiled in reviews before the game came out!

It's a nice touch though: a little something to recognize your complete immunity to the Game Over screen.

Both Maxwell and myself distinctly recall the game advertising at least 80 levels. I can only account for 77. Just saying.
