Vgchartz numbers are wrong for most european regions

Italian numbers for week 43 have been released by GFK

PS3 outsold the x360 3:1 last week in Italy

so if xbox 360 numbers are right it should be:

360 -- 8K

PS3 -- 24K

Wii - 48K

If PS3 numbers are right it should be:

PS3 10K

360 -- 3.3K

Wii -- 20K

If Wii numbers are right it should be:

Wii -- 16K

PS3 -- 8K

360 -- 2.6K

could be any of those scenarios but the numbers are overstated for x360 as u can see

The numbers for x360 are massively overstated for both Germany and spain

ps3 outsold x360 6:1 in germany (september) and by a bigger margin in spain

the train held after september too

forza3 never charted in spain and germany . does that tell you anything

Maybe ioi could make a page somewhere explaining where some of the numbers are coming from so that we could always refer to that page.

Others regional hardware isn't even being tracked is it?

there is no such numbers as vgchartz exclusives

vgchartz doesnt have any capability to track retail sales. all are just estimates

the numbers i posted are from GFK

anecdotal evidence could be retailer charts where you will never see an x360 sku

www.game.es --take that as an example

the difference between the 2 consoles are much higher in europe
