In your dreams. Then again I plan on picking it up, its Sony's answer to Mario. I loved LittleBigPlanet on PS3 but then again as many have pointed out multiplayer is what really sold LBP. I think the game will sell as good as any other title from the PSP's fall line-up, essentially it'll barely slip off the shelves.

I'm going out on a limb here.. despite my overwhelming love for LittleBigPlanet, I believe it's going to be a tremendous flop.

I see week one sales of 30k, and lifetime sales of around 250k. Several factors will attribute to this flop:

Sad.. I wish they didn't have to make this thing..

I lol'd

Honestly... since when has 250k been a flop?  This isn't a 20 million dollar budget game... hell I'd be surprised it would even be the same budget as an average PS2 game... 250k isn't a huge hit, but its not a flop either... I remember when 1 million was considdered amazing sales <_<

Anyway to stop criticizing your terrible idea of what counts as a flop, I believe the game will sell around 500k.  I think taking out some big features of the console game, IE the multiplayer, might be a turn off for a few big fans of the first game, but many (like myself) will still get it for the user generated content.

250k is a flop because the main game sold 2.5 million so far.

another iteration of the same franchise performing 10% of the first? that's a hell of a flop.

Uh... this isn't a main game?  *shakes head* flop is a term used to say something failed.  250k is selling enough to most likely break even but not up to expectations.  So "Not selling to expectations" would be a better term to use and everyone would likely agree, flop is used way too often and not even used in the appropriate context, lately everything is a flop, just like everything is a flop compared to the first day sales of GTAIV or the overall sales of Wii Wit and Mario Kart, it's just stupid to use it in those kinda contexts.

250k sales on handhelds in general is solid, no matter who the publisher is, what title it is, or who made it, now not living up to your expectations is different, not living up to the first games sales is different, saying the game is a flop with 250k sales is just not right.

if motostorm sold under 20k after 5week then i would be surprised if little big planet sell much more than this , so 200k thats impossible

After seeing GT PSP's sales.. I'm not expecting much.

No multiplayer is fail. LBP is my favorite game in the past three years, but I won't be getting LBP PSP until it goes Greatest Hits.

Multiplayer practically makes the game.

Not much... That is all I can say, it is so sad that all these great games don't sell on PSP. It also means that we don't really get big budget PSP games from anyone apart from SE, because they know they are not going to get their money back with only 1 or 2 exceptions

You honestly think that a LBP-game without multiplayer is a "great game"? I thought multiplayer was pretty much the whole selling point of the franchise. Well, that and creating stuff. But what's the point of creating stuff if you're the only one who can enjoy it?

You can still share your levels over the internet.
