For the record I think that even if there's a sales spike it will only wind up hurting 360 sales in the following weeks. There's people in this very thread who are buying multiple units in order to flood craigslist and Ebay in order to make some quick cash.

As far as these individuals, the systems are still being bought, are they not?  This is just the beginning of the holidays where the Arcade console is a very attractive deal.  The Arcade sales will likely drop off a bit after this week long deal (provided no one else has one), but once December hits it will be back up there

lol kowenicki... there was no reason to make the jab and single out the ps3. If he wanted to respond he could have said "those consoles" or "360 ahead of the competition in..." stop defending him. It was a troll statement. No reason for albys statement either. He baited newbie and newbie bit.

Whoah, Amazon is matching the deal!  Has that been reported here yet?  Arcade shoots to top of the list.

edit: oh...hah, Amazon is mentioned in the thread title, but I only saw mentions of Walmart in the thread.  Anyway, amazon is sold out for now but in a couple hours they'll have more units available to order.

Microsoft did say know matter what they will outsell the ps3, so to beat the ps3 they are giving the xbox 360 away for free. Kinda funny. Wonder what would happen if they did this for the ps3(buy a ps3 for 150 and get a 150 gift card). Good for microsoft should be interesting to see what sells it puts up.

GTA4 has better graphics on PS3 and we have some of the top graphically and game wise best game out there like KZ2 and U2 and top line up of exclusive game that define a console whil 360 now clings to the remaining mulitplat games out there.

Didn't Epic game (Gears creator) rumour to be starting a ps3 ame along with bungie because they went to steady Naughty Dog at their open house.

ANd PS3 has free internet you say with subjectivly politer gamers, along with the fact that PS3 is constatnly updated and shall see the some quality of online gaming has 360 by next year the catch... Unless Your in america the 360 costs a clear cut $45.

Well it sure is nice to be playing ur uber cool games on those DVDs that are from the last generation. kudos, kudos to you sir.
