The Republican house leader claimed that he did not see any signs that were offensive and the great Virginia Foxx was also present (healthcare reform is worse than terrorism according to her).

You know, some Jim Jones' Kool-Aid would do those clowns some real good. Really, really expand their horizons.

BTW, welcome back.

Oh, I know, but I never got around to saying 'Welcome back.'

It is comparable in the long run. With huge populations across the 50 states and territories (more than most Euro nations) the lines will be inevitably longer and rationing will happen. I am for opening state borders and cross-state competition with tort reform. Although that is unlikely in this Congress as 75+% of lawyers contribs are to the Dems.

I know what you mean. I always want to see people poisoned when they disagree with me, too. We are two reasonable, mature peas in a pod.

Leave it to halogamer to agree that long hospital lines are the equivalent of mass violent genocide. Paying for somebody elses hospital bill is also like being shoved naked into a gas chamber with hundreds of other men women and children, packed so tight the door to the gas chamber barely closes.

Yeah, this seems about right. Good analogy people.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

The problem is, he is a poster online, but there was recently a comparison by a congresswoman comparing healthcare reform to terrorism and saying it was worse. I think it's even stranger and crazier when an official with power makes similar statements. I don't think it's a coincidence that this sign was at a republican led rally and not at an Obama rally for example.

And before someone mentions crazy lefties with signs of Bush as Hitler, I already know. The comparison with the opposion to Hitler in all cases is ridiculous, but it is not the same as comparing an opponent's act as similar to the holocaust or the killing of over 6 million people in horrible ways.

Dude, I don't have a problem when someone has a difference of opinion. What I am marveling at is how totally clueless these folks are. It reminds me of Jim Jones. Maybe that's what they need.

You know, it's ok to be a sore loser, but this is insanity. And since they are against gov't-run healthcare, the violence that happens next will land them in a hospital on our dime - because their pitiful health coverage will not cover a sharp blow to the head - will call it a *pre-existing condition* and the bill will continue to rise.

If that's the case, pull the plug. I don't want to waste money on someone who hates the health care anyway. The Kool-Aid is much faster, IMHO.

One insane sign doesn't make an entire movement insane. Otherwise...

As for "the violence that happens next", I have no idea what that's even supposed to mean.
