I actually thought his post was a joke post, truly. I mean it was so far removed from reality but with such stern conviction that you'd think he was trying too hard to make you believe that he believed what he was actually saying.

Yea not much in there haha. Just an argument over the definition of "AAA status" which Kluutru is right and everyone else is wrong. Why people quote metacritic and reviews as the meaning of AAA is beyond me. It's a term companies use to denote large properties they think are going to bring in massive sales. Generally that also means they will put a lot of money into the project which usually makes them have a high budget but not necessarily a part of the definition. Reviews will not maintain the status but sales can determine if it actually should have been AAA status.

As for people going to eat crow, well I'm sure there is a lot haha. I remember outlaw telling me how crazy it was for Mario to sell 11 million within a year and well probably shouldn't bring that back up to him haha. I'm sure there are alot of other people who didn't see it as likely... I know I really didn't at first. But after the first week sales it didn't take long to see that 11 million was going to be no problem.

I disagree you with you. It has already sold close to 7million in just 5 weeks. It only needs to sell 4million in 10 1/2 months. That's a easy accomplisment for a 2d mario game on the wii. It will continue to be in the top 10 if not top 5 wii games for the rest of 2010.

Just because you love the ps3 and hate the wii doesn't make your thread true.

It sounds to me your just jealous that your ps3 dosesn't have any games that can compete with something like a 2d mario game.

And this has nothing to do with me not like thing ps3 either, even though I don't have one and only a wii. I have always like the playstation brand. Except the ps1, N64 killed that system with all it's orginal games.

I think it could be possible. 2D Mario has a huge fan base and anything is possible. It's at 6.68 million already and that's in only 5 weeks.

The blue ocean includes millions of lapsed gamers with families. They will and are buying the game.

I wonder why some people forget that. I think it probably the age of the posters as mentioned earlier.
