MS was embarrassed last gen with the XB, and so far this gen Sony's PS3 is getting ready to outsell them in "Other" after a year and a half head start, the PS3 remain very competitive in NA, and Japan was a total blowout for the 360, all the effort on the exclusive JRPG's did nothing, absolutely nothing.
The 360 is far from achieving any milestones, the only thing I can say they did good was getting out 1 year before Sony came to market, that 1 year head start is the only reason why they are leading, you can see this when comparing the PS3 and 360's LTD shipments.

If a one year headstart is what you call a milestone you need to look up the definition of milestone.

Wait...you don't think selling a million consoles in a country that is nationally biased against American competition if they have a similar product is a milestone, you're kinda crazy. Last gen I believe Microsoft only sold 24k in Japan. Are you nuts? LMAO! Wow...you guys need to help your buddy out.

Where do you think the 10 million sales exist? It's funny months ago fanboys of Sony were bashing Americans because Microsoft is winning in America without attributing those sales to library and console price. I swear.

I do not love Microsoft. I can respect a company that defies the odds in a industry they aren't exactly strong in.

The odds are greatly against Sony this gen, MS is very strong this gen, Nintendo is even stronger, sounds to me like Sony fits your criteria for a company you can respect, but instead you come to a thread that is celebrating a small milestone for Sony (considering their time in the industry) and piss all over it.

The odds are against Sony winning this gen. If Sony beats Microsoft this gen, that is a milestone, because they proved how dominant their brand is despite self inflicted wounds they've incured. I didn't piss all over the celebration, nor did I say Sony sucked (because I am actually on PSN right now). I am just saying you should expect great sales from Sony when they stop screwing around and drop the price. When Sony makes profit, that is a milestone. Sony's LTD will make all this drama in here look like a joke.

Milestones are constructed to provide reference points along the road. How that is hard to understand is hard to understand.
