Was just checking the weekly sales page. Uncharted 2 is in 5th place, selling over 200000 copies (205914 to be exact). Looks like this could cross 2 million by end of year comfortably.

Good to hear. I remember there were a couple prediction threads where the majority seemed to think that there was no way it would hit 2 mil by 2010.. but you're right, it looks like that's inevitable. The game deserves every dollar it makes, and I'm glad Uncharted is emerging as a big name IP now.

i remembered the guys who said it would only sell 800k - 1.2 mill at the end of the year :D
and guys dont forget the first one please...20000 in its 103rd week = good legs!
Uncharted 1 should also see a big boost in the holidays because many gamers that will buy thw 2nd to test it will also buy the first after it...cause u cant get enough of Drake...thats a fact!

please ND...hurry up and do a 3rd in 2010...i see Drake diving in the third one in some awesome water!:D

yh i think it will hit 2million before years end. And it deserves it. Such a good game.

I predict 1.65-1.8M by the end of 09.

If it does some how hit 2M though, that would be awesome.

i honestly dont why most are shocked about its sales didnt u all see the hype b4 it even came out?

i havent bought the game yet but wen i do count on that weeks sales being very high i usaully buy multiple copies

@BHR-3: I actually started this thread because I only saw yours earlier today (and read all the posts). I that it was quite funny how almost everyone seemed to think it was highly unlikely for it to surpass 1.2-1.4 million by end of year, yet you estimated 2 million. I'd say it's right on for that right now. We can't be sure quite how it will go through the holidays, seeing as it is so new and had such a big first week. I'm hopeful though.

Awesome. As most people should know by now, the Uncharted franchise has sexy legs due to fantastic word-of-mouth. Should maintain 100k+ weeks throughout the year, bringing it comfortably to 2 million by 2010. Well deserved!
