Forums - Nintendo - Does anyone know FOR SURE if BWII will feature local multiplayer?

I've seen "definitive" posts all over the net that say Battallion wars II is local multiplayer and others that say multi is online only....

I won't be purchasing it if there isn't some sort of local co-op...

Anyone know the real deal?

I don't think anyone knows anything about this game...I don't think IGN even had anything but a WiFi mode when they previewed it last week...rather sad. It's like Nintendo's hiding it.

It's a shame they didn't promote it much... The game looks like a cartooney Halo/COD type game. Why does Nintendo do this? The let some of their better titles just quietly come and go with little effort to promote....
