Yes, but one revolves around shooting people, and the other...doesn't.

One is set in real places, and one is set in Somewherevaguelyfamiliarbutweirdland.

One is about finding a treasure, one is about escaping from a castle.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who noticed both Pitfall AND Jungle King while playing Uncharted 2.

But honestly, that's what gaming is. You take what works and you tweek it and make it your own. Uncharted 2 masterfully worked in elements that have been proven to be succesfull, and it help shape the game's identity. There's very little you can do in terms of innovation these days, so it's all about taking what's out there and making it better.
