Congrats to the Yankees. They played like the best team this year and deserved their title.

On a note, Atlanta Braves are my favorite MLB (oh yea the 90s and early 00s were a fun time haha). Braves gave it quite a run this year but fell short. Going into the World Series can't say I was rooting for anyone (Phillies are mortal enemies and Yankees are about the same) but at least it was an interesting World series this year. The last 2 years have been 4 game sweeps so good series.

So glad Utley didn't kill us any tonight either, I've seen enough of his smug grill and fuckin' 90's style slicked back hair chillin' in the dugout after hitting a bomb. All around a good year, no more A-fraud talk either. Even though he's a little goofy and was full of shit about his performance enhancing drug use, I still like him and felt bad for him. That dude got pounded for years by "Yankee fans". Well this emotional high is good for a few days now until the Giants and Jets stink it up for the rest of the season....oh well Yanks in six, just ask Jimmy Rollins.

It should be looked at as an embarassment by Yankee fans that they lost 2 games to the Phillies.

Anyway that argument is getting old, they had the highest payroll last year too and where did that get them? They were sitting home for the post season with their dicks in their hands. Although it helps it takes a lot more than just money to win. They Yankees probably know that better than anyone. You need to come with something better than the old Yankee payroll angle that you picked up from your local broadcaster. Get used to them having the highest payroll, no salary cap in MLB and they are just playing by the rules. Don't be that angry poor kid hating on the rich kid for having more money.
