 You do seem amazed. It also does not make sense for a multiplayer only game to be nominated for best gameplay award, but not best multiplayer award. Surely multiplayer = gameplay

Golf, boxing, and baseball have 1:1 motion in them.  And while bowling doesn't show 1:1 on the screen it reflects your throw very accurately in spin and speed.  Especially considering it was a freebie demo game I'd say it is quite impressive as far as motion control goes.  The tennis I could do without though.  Hopefully mario tennis wil correct that.

funny but given the choice b/t a light gun and thumb stick combo(wii) and a thumb sticks (other guys) i wonder what i wil choose for FPS'n it up

 Do you have kids of your own?  Why not mimick?  I'm confused, I used to swing around poles as swords all the time with my neighbors, except we could actually hurt eachother a lot more than a Wii-mote.

Not for all games - why is this relevant?  Ok, go use the classic or GC controller.  "Certain games"? Define where the Wii (not the controller) lacks in competing with analog sticks?  Give examples?  Have you tried Prime or RE4 with the shooter-wii-mote feel?  It's absolutely amazing.  Way better than a silly stick (I'm glad we've progressed, at least some of us).

Waving...  you don't wave a wii-mote for FPS.  You tilt your wrist.  Is a wrist so much harder than a thumb?  No, not your arm, your wrist.  Only your imagination of 'silly-looking and tiring" applies to fabricated and inexperienced opinions.  Play Prime, see how much 'waving' you do.  Very little, if not none.

 

Sarcasm:  Gosh, why would I want to use a thumb stick??  I don't want to have to be moving my thumns 3 feet each direction, that's just silly for adults.  I want my thumbs stationary and NOT MOVING.

Please define "true motion control". do you mean if you swing it the machine notices?

I have played games that use some sort of motion control in arcades 10 years ago. I don't see why you needed to quote it.

I have played games with some sort of graphics ten yeas ago as well - even 20 years ago.

The wii does lack perfection to reach a larger audience, or are you saying that the wii is perfect in no more gaming systems ever need to be made again?

I think you have some sort of problem, maybe you were dropped as a child, or maybe or mom was on crack, i'm not sure. But me having a positive attitude on the wii really seems to hurt you, maybe you should seek professional help.

Now THIS is what Im talking about - you love to insult people, do you? Plese continue - its fun. Oh, and we dont have Crack in Germany, we only have "KRÄG" (Moers). And by the way: You dont have a positive attitude and that is my point all the time. you just dont get it i guess.
