After I read the rumor about this yesterday, I checked with my local walmart to see and they only had 6 in stock (yesterday).  Hopefully they get more because I plan on buying 2 myself.  

Seriously them people must be crazy how can they not feel that they're stepping on somebody? Mentality, walking in a store you'd know you should be stepping on smooth surface and if you're not then usually you'd look down to see what you step on.  Then again since its in America, the country with the highest obesity, walking wobbly is probably normal.  Shame on those people just to save a few bucks ended up killing an innocent person.  

OT: 42" sharp HDTV for under $500 seems like a good deal wow

Seriously, no need in trying to make this about "obesity".  The people that did this were pretty much being pushed from other people behind them.  The same thing has happend countless times throughout the world.  Football games, Rock Concerts, and pretty much any kind of event that gets people excited enoujgh to que in very large lines.

It was a tragic accident and I am fairly certain no one wanted it to happen.  ESP... the people who actually stepped on the poor soul.

Another one of the ads that was on Yahoo.com said min 10 per store.

I wonder big of a bump this will give the 360 in the console war.

Damn! I just might have to snag up a couple of those deals!

I think there are just over 3000 of them.  If you count regular walmarts and supercenters.  Plus around 500 sams clubs.

Poking around the internet looks like about 5000 stores in the US. So VGChartz could take the 5000 multiply by the 10 minimum and estimate that 50,000 extra arcades sell next week.

^And thats only if just the bare minimum sell. What if on average each store ends up with ~15 sold that day. That'd be quite the bump!

I wonder if Best Buy will price match this... That would be the smart thing to do, to avoid the crowd and get Reward points while your at it.
