Forums - Sales - Predict sales for FFCC: The Crystal Bearers (in Japan)

How about a American prediction thread then? It seems as though this game will be a bigger hit here than in Japan (not that I believe it won't do respectable business or anything).

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

If this is how SE targets the West, then SE needs to take some tips from Nintendo and Capcom about the sort of content Western audiences relate to. The main character may be an "rugged, mature hero" by Japanese game standards, but he still just looks like a boy by Western standards.

He doesn't look like a boy at all...

Are you kidding? He looks like a smug 15 year old. He is a boy.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Teenage boy thinks that slightly older looking boy looks like man. Ok.

He has a boyish face, wide eyes, a build typical of a late teen, an effeminate hairstyle and effiminate clothing (trying to be colorful and stylish rather than practical).

This is a man:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.
