ahh the source engine, more than 5 years off amazing scalability and graphical umph. who could ever forget the amazing facial detail and surreal world that is half life 2, the amazing art style of team fortress, or all the insane user mods, also, the engine easily handles 16XAA on games like tf2, this is phenominal! So here to the source engine, may it one day produce an amazing and worthy successor

Source engine rocks hard. I love how I can crank up the AA and texture filtering in Half-Life 2 and get a truly amazing experience to this day. I still think Half-Life 2 has some of the prettiest vistas in gaming (I love the hoverboat section, the water is perfect).

It's just a little unfortunate that I've developed a knack for noticing level of detail pop-in, since the Source engine has quite a lot of it occurring at any given time.
