u obviously have a great opinion in gaming but aperently not movies (star trek (2009) so although you maybe the only person in the world over 37 who likes star trek (2009). what you said was really an overstatement (in my opinion) didn't mean to offend anyone (just trying to tell the world what really is) oh and u have great taste in food. |
LOL you didn't offend me but I still have to say the "trying to tell the world what really is" is a tad hmm, presumptuous. The thing is I love Trek. I have loved every single thing they have thrown at me. I love all the Trek movies. I am not the only one over 37 that liked it btw lol. Thanks on the food comment, so do you
I have very good taste in movies, but then again there is that word "subjective" that you need to look into. Thanks on the games comment, same back at you. Anyway, to sum it all up, no harm/no foul and you are good with me (even if wrong IMO about Trek 2009).
@damnd: Yeah the movie was incredible and I am excited about the next one. Did you see that Kirk's dad is going to be Thor?
I agree that people need to learn that subjective concepts cannot ever have a "fact" or "winner" established but then again we live in a world where people kill others for being different.

anyone who says they thought the new star trek was "incredible or amazing" is either young or hasent seen the old ones. |
XD. Ok, my dad who is 52, and my aunt, who is 56, (VERY big trekies when they were younger) thought it was an amazing movie. As did I , and I enjoy the old series. So...yeah...you really don't know what you are talking about. It seems to me only old people who are too stuck in their ways think that the new ST movie was "childish"...utter rubbish.
Anyway, on topic, it does seem odd that they would bundle the console with movies instead of games...thats an expensive DVD player.

Yea I saw that but more importantly, he is going to be Jed Eckert in the new Red Dawn remake due out in 2010. I really loved the original Red Dawn. And since were pretty close in age I would bet you know the movie I am talking about! Patrick Swayze nailed that part so lets see how old Kirk's Dad does!

Ok, first off, this is a forum, just because that argument was "an hour ago" does not mean a person cannot comment on it. And secondly...calling a person a retard for no reason? Not cool, grow up, what are you, a fifth grader?
