I haven't watched Twilight and I never read the books but based on the trailer of the movie, it doesn't look that bad.
What's wrong with Twilight?
I heard there's a love story so I guess that's the girly part but what else?

Do people actually like those passages?

It's like the book is having sex with you.

Dtewi how much do you read books

Not that much, but I still don't like that passage.

I don't care if I'm like misinformed, that passage is annoying.

I've seen worse from the book Nineteen Minutes.

"He pinned her hands over her head and ground his hops against hers. She could feel his erection hot against her stomach.
It wasnt the way it normally was, but Josie had to admit it was exciting... She clawed at matt to bring him closer.
'Yeah' he growned and pushed her thighs apart. And then suddenly he was inside her, pumping so hard that she scooted backward on the carpet, burning the backs of her legs.
'Wait,' Josie said, trying to roll away beneath him, but he clamped his hand over her mouth and drove harder and harder untill josie felt him come.
Semen, sticky, and hot pooled on the carpet beneathe her..."

lmao.

Lol. Very romantic. I can write better than that...

(in all seriousness, I can, however, being better than that is not hard at all.)

Hopefully never.

Go give a read. It won't take you but forty-five minutes to get far enough to want to put it down. Maybe less.

Is this punishment for not finishing OoT yet?

Which I will!

Oh you'll want to finish it after this, believe me. Just to get the taste out of your mouth.

ahah is Twilight that bad? I'm totally looking forward to this weekend.

Wait! It might be available on illico...

Ermf! argh! I'm excited, I might watch tonight! Yay!

...

Yay?

Oh yeah, did I mention that book is a book you were allowed to read from a list the school gave us this past summer vacation? I didn't read it (I did a summary on it from summaries on the Internet, lol) but I found that quote and went WTF.

I'm definitely moving to the states now. Great education, we read only boring stuff over here.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!?! If he had said the book, maybe that would have been forgivable, but the movie, that piece of trash movie. WTF! KOJIMAAAAAAAAA! Will we see emo vampires in Rising...? Vamp.... omfg. I see it clearly now.

The book is pretty unforgivable... i read it because my sister had a copy and she loved it... you really need to be a teenage girl to like it... half the book is literally describing how attractive edward is... it's so terrible.

On second though, I shouldn't be so harsh. Maybe Kojima's taste is similar to what people like in general, which is why he makes successful games. He knows how to make games that are accessible to everyone.

Just because something doesn't suit my taste doesn't make it bad. Sometimes the popular band/movie/game is not interesting to me but that's no reason to discount it, especially since so many people enjoy it. Everyone has different tastes. It's great to have diversity among people. Right?

No. Twilight is just awful.

I wouldn't call MGS accessible.  The stories in the series are very art film like, especially MGS2.  I find it depressing that Kojima, whose storytelling is generally considered to be some of the best in the industry, would like Twilight.

Kojima, do you actually like the movie? Kojima? KOJIMMMMMMMMAAAAAAA!

*(Game over theme plays)*

This is the true definition of owning.

Ok, the movie wasnt that bad, its just that I expected more seeing all of the fans and some critics saying it was ok.

First, in the beggining you actually kinda get involved into what is going to happen, the setting is somewhat attacting, later on it turns into a drag, a love story, not the good ones, the ones you expect a 13 year old girl to be telling. Stupid dialogue and argument(how Bella(?) discovers Edward is a vampire is worst than an anime like naruto could even show, or the baseball stupidity and the lame enemies).

You have like 10 interesting minutes in the beggining, 30 of a silly relationship with a guy that tries to represent everything that many girls want, then when you expect to see some testosterone and violence you get a 5 minute fight and a silly ending. The story is lame, a friendly vampire family with adolescent vampires, and one of those falling in love with a girl and protecting her from another vampire is silly at least in the way the movie showed it.

The music in the movie is forgettable, they picked one of the worst muse songs for the movie(supermassive blackhole) and have songs from paramore and other pop rock bands that have ok songs at best.

Nay.

I have a passionate hatred for the Twilight books; which is unique among all books that I have read. I read the first one on pain of denial of wifely duties; which gives my attitude some legitimacy. I will never let another word of that series come before my eyes, nor a scene from the movies.

Kojima's taste in entertainment has descended considerably in my estimation. But this does not necessarily reflect negatively on his own creative talents.
