I just call it Wii damage control. Whether or not the PS3 wins Japan (even though it will), the Wii still loses.

I'm just waiting for the excuses to be used to justify why the Wii struggled in 2009.

So you're trying to compare Katuragi to Iwata, seriously? If Iwata says that their next console will have HD and says that he won't price a console over $250, its not just bluster, he doesn't say things without a reason The Wii vitality sensor is still a ways off, they'll reveal the software at E3 2010, the Sony wand already has its launch software set, Wii fit and Wii sports are already out, so the Sony wand will have to compete with its launch software against those games.
