In a 1up.com podcast 1up states in the next weeks and months, some Xbox 360 exclusives are supposed to be announced also for the PS3. The comment can be heard from running time 61:30 to Shane bed houses of the EGM in the Podcast 1UP Yours. It is said these titles will be titles once considered to be Xbox360 only games.

2009.04.30 - PS3 will OUTSELL x360 atleast by the middle of 2010. Japan+Europe > NA.


Gran Turismo 3 - 1,06 mln. in 3 weeks with around 4 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Gran Turismo 4 - 1,16 mln. with 18 mln. PS2 on the launch.

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.

 

1.8 mln. PS3 today(2008.01.17) in Japan. Now(2009.04.30) 3.16 mln. PS3 were sold in Japan.
PS3 will reach 4 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 25k.

PS3 may reach 5 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 50k.
PS2 2001 vs PS3 2008 sales numbers =) + New games released in Japan by 2009 that passed 100k so far

Well I doubt Blue Dragon, and Lost Odyssey I've heard Hironobu Sakaguchi, speak ill of the PS3 cell and a bunch of things on Sony. I'd take out Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, probably forget Mass Effect, that stupid tends to stay with PC's so doubt they'll stray from Xbox360. If I were to guess, Dead rising and/or Lost Planet. Again that's just a guess.

There are only four games on your list that have a chance to make the jump from 360 to PS3. Trusty Bell aka Eternal Sonata Lost Planet Dead Rising Ace Combat 6 The rest have almost no chance at all of seeing relesase on PS3. I doubt Trusty Bell will see release on PS3, but since Namco is the publisher. It is a possiblity. Capcom's comments when they announced DMC4 for 360/PC hinted at a new possible multiplatform stance. Ace Combat 6 is highly likely to hit PS3 in some form. RR7 is virtually indentical to RR6 on 360 with a few additions. I could see Namco doing something similar with AC6.

When you are talking about a $200+ price difference between the two, I have to agree it only really makes a difference when exclusives go from the most expensive to the less expensive.

That list is bull. They say xbox 360 only for a reason. maybe one of those will go multi platform.

It was my understanding that Microsoft was publishing Mass Effect, Blue Dragon, Losy Odysessy. So I don't think it'll be them. Most of the others are already been out for a while, so even if it's not fully exclusive, it was at least exclusive long enough to rake in serious sales.
