Wow that's extremely rare. I mean PS3's don't break often. I only know one person (in real life) whose PS3 ever broke and his was an import from Japan.
The thing im pissed with the most my game DW6: Empires is stuck in the dead sorry excuse for a console.
What do i do about that? if i send it to sony will they throw it away?

Trophies are linked to your PSN account, so you don't have to worry about losing them.
@Seraphic, Sony will give you the disc back.

Do one of the Youtube fixes. Get the disc out back-up your saves then sell it

Links to some youtube videos? and as for DW6: Empires, it prohibits copying, so if possible i really want to keep this PS3 because i have all the gear for custom characters in the game.

It does not. I have fixed a few. The HDD is married to the consoles individual motherboard. If you move it to another system it will have to reformatthe HDD. If you fix the YLOD you keep all your saves.
You can fix most YLOD's which can come from a bad power supply, BR drive or motherboard heating issue. The PSU and BR drives are just swap outs and the motherboard issue requires access to a heat gun and a youtube tutorial. If you got any questions hit me up I have 2 broken PS3s that I have fixed.
Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.
Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.
