Wow that really sucks! I would really recommend just buying a new one because my friend sent his back and 2 month's later it was dead as a doornail. I just got the slim and I have to say I think it's a big improvement over the fat.

i love my 80GB it has backwards... and no big deal about the saves, i had them all on back up ever since i heard about makingmusics issue, the REAL question i want to know is will all my bought PSN games still be in tact?
