There is no such thing as objective, everything is subjective. Everybody is some sort of fanboy. Humans are biased and selfish by nature it helped are ancestors survive.

well in my opinion, VGchartz has the least amount of extreme fanboys, and most fanboys have a leveled head on this site.

I think it would be great. Against popular conception, there can be controversy with logical discussions. Not agreeing is controversy of course. But you can disagree logically without the need of an extremist.

I think everyone would like to take out the illogical radicals of video game discussions. Too many people get disillusioned with such biases and whatnot and really just makes the debate only about the radicals. Really I don't like when video game discussion goes on similar levels to political or religious ones.

So yes without fanboys would be nice. But you can have people who are sided one company or whatnot without fanboys: called taking a position.
