good for her.

why do you people hate on her? Seriously I want a good explanation? Is it because society makes us hate POP artists because we are MEN we cannot like a pop artist? I am getting fucking tired of it, and I bet you you have NEVER seen a fucking performence of her to say that. |
Methinks you're being a little too defensive of the lady. Look, I think her music is alright. I wouldn't personally listen to it, but I can understand why others would.
On the other hand, Michael Jackson is a pop artist and you'll practically get run over for not liking the man.
It's just possible that some people don't like her and don't think her music is that great. I'm one of those people. I can have an opinion.
I don't like it because her voice is over-produced Leo. I like my singers raw, uneditted. I know it's hard to come across these days but I prefer artists that can carry the sound of their music without technological interference. Something that I find quite hard for the lady.

I am defensive because he makes her look like a pile of shit like all these other artists out there, she isn't britney spears, she isn't katy perry, she isn't any of these manufactured artists that can't even sing to begin with. I know if you guys would see her performences, you would be beyond impressed, the moment I saw her was the moment I knew something good was going to happen to music. Just wait and see, and yes I know michael jackson is an exception, but if your a guy and you like madonna, your a homosexual because society does that, you can't have a madonna song on your ipod without people thinking you are gay.

#1 on itunes canada, australia, and some other region
and I say they are manufactured because they don't write there music, and they sound NOTHING like they do in there songs, not only that they don't sound good to begin with, they also lip sync, and take a year long vacation from music. I don't consider them actual artists, an actual artist is someone who lives only for music, and the visual performence of music.
@Esmoreit
Coincidentally I had the perfect video just for you to prove your assumptions wrong, and sadly youtube shut down right now.

Live performances from artists today mean very little in relation to how well an artist can actually sing or hold a note ...
For about a decade pop artists have used auto-tuners for real-time vocal correction, and the combination of increasingly powerful hardware and more sophisticated software has made lip-syncing (almost) unnecessary because you can fully correct the pitch and tone of a singer in real time; and I wouldn’t be surprised if you could pre-program the correct pitches and tones to put a singer on "auto-pilot". There are reasons why most pop artists avoid live-unplugged singing at all costs.

billboard's top 40 pop songs came after carey hit her 4 number 1 hits |
Maria Charey and the Jackson 5 were number one in overall US charts at their time. Top 40 pop songs are not the overall charts. overall charts are Billboard Hot 100. Lovegame was number one 1 in Top 40 Pop, but only 5 in Hot 100.
Anyway, it´s very good for Lady Gaga. Congratulatons to her.
