You should return it if you can. This computer is almost the same and it's $3000, and then you can buy a Blu ray drive for a little over 100 bucks.

Also like everyone said, if you built it yourself it'd be much much cheaper.

congrats. many people wouldn't have $6000 to burn it all on a pc, but im glad u did, as well u probably have the most powerful pc , you can do nething you can imagine.

Above I'm a proud Gran Turismo fan, not a Sony fanboy, and now a proud 360 owner, but sharing xbox live accts ATM

End of 2009 Predictions (made Jan 1, 2009): My predictions were pretty accurate, the 360 was over and the Wii was just under.

Wii: 65 mil (yea I'm crazy) 360: 35 mil (its getting there) PS3: 30 mil (the slim better do well)

End of 2010 Predictions (made Jan 7, 2010):

Wii: 81 mil 360: 47 mil PS3: 45 mil

That's a nice computer but the only thing i don't agree is the purchase of a BD burner. It is a very useless peripheral right now in the computer world. You probably paid 1000$ for that burner option or something close to that.

There's no way it could have tacked on THAT much...is there?

My VAIO FW-468 has a BD burner and was $1350 total. If it tacked on another grand, Alienware has serious overpricing issues, moreso than I originally thought.
