I really like the sphere grid
so YESSS

but I'm also curious to see how the new leveling system works, since I am pretty used to regular JRPG leveling

As long as I can "grind" and after a few hours or so and defeat the bosses I would normaly die on I'm happy... I HATE fixed levels... they are ruining the experience.... it's the only thing I didn't like about LO...( sure there were ways to sidestep it "unofficially") but come on I'm tired of people complaining about "grinding" go and ruin some other genre then RPG's.... bastards

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

I don't like FF X, I like XII....Anyway, I'm sure XIII will be great

FFX was awesome

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

I like the Sphere Grid idea, but not being able to level up is fucking ridiculous...

BETTER SCAN!!

cocoon has an amusement park! lol

On the left side is Cocoon's amusement park, called ノーチラス・パーク (Nautilus Park?) and the bottom pictures shows us one of the street corners of that place. They also note that you scan see "someone" that looks like a summon on the video wall. (well obviously its Siren)

Snows disc:
Snow's case you can see that the center of his disc is the attack command, from there on you can go 3 different directions. One being +70HP, another one I cant recognize and the path going to the bottom of the disc is highlighted/shining which means its the way to a new ability.

Fire

This ability can be used by the Blaster role. Its attack power and its costs to use are small, therefor its easy to use.

Fira

Using the crystallium system you can level up the Blaster role, which will enable you to use Fira at some point. The spell hits nearby enemies too (so it works on groups).

Firaga
If you advance even more, you will get the high class magic Firaga. It has a bigger range, so you can hit even more enemies with it and it also blast enemies into the air.

Well, it a first day buy for me :D

This is the true definition of owning.

I loved everything about ffx's leveling system, i definitely grinded in the omega ruins to max out everyones sphere gride, clocked in 150+ hours maxing everybody out and collecting ultimate weapons, which i hope make a return in some shape or form

That does indeed look very nice!

YES! I loved the sphere grid, it is by far my favorite leveling system!

Hmm, FF X was by far the easiest FF ever for me, mainly because of the "I'll make everyone good at everything"-vibe. They'd better make this hard enough to force you to choose instead "doesn't matter, I'll pick.... everything". Tweaks and balance checks, Square!
