All you have to do is put what score you think the game below deserves, and write a brief explanation as to why it deserves that score.

Voting is open for 3 days, after the 3 day period I will count up all the scores and get the average of the game.  I will be putting up a new thread with a new game every 3 days

Rules

1. You had to have played at least enough of the game to form an honest opinion about it

(playing it for 5 minutes is NOT enough time, nor is watching a friend play the game)

2. Users with less than 100 posts cannot score a game unless they back up their post with very good reasons as to why they rated it so.

3. scores have to be on a 10 point scale with 7 being average, and anything longer than 2 digits (Eg: 9.75) won't be counted.

4. If you score a game under a 5 or under, you have to go into great detail as to why you gave it such a low score.

5. A game must have at least 5 people that gave it a score to be counted.

6. If you score a game more than once none of your scores will count

Pulled up by the fact that Portal is awesome, but I didn't even bother to finish HL2. It got boring...

I played the PC version.

Nice to see you back in here with your game :)

As for the orange box, i'll give it a 9.5

It had a compilation of the best FPS, and it's released episodes so far,of all times in my opinion, plus Portal was a triumph, i'm making a note here huge success, it's hard to overcome my satisfaction... xD

I could do that score for Portal alone or for Half-Life 2 alone. This is the best compilation ever made. It has the best single-player FPS game, one of the best online multiplayer games, and the most innovative first-person game ever made. All in a magic box. For cheap.

Would probably give it a 48 total if all the games were seperate.  Portal was great.  TF2 has been my most played shooter since '07.  Half-life 2 is still amazing 5 years later.  I though Episode one was a little weak, but Episode two was a big improvement.  Definitely one of the best values in gaming.

I don't rank compilations.

HL2 = 9.8 (epic epic EPIC game)
HL2 ep1 = 8.5 (lacked the diversity of environment and vehicles of HL2)
HL2 ep2 = 9.0 (brought back some of the good stuff from HL2, but not much new...)
Portal = 10.0 (what else is there to say? Even Zero Punctuation had nothing to complain about)
TF2 = 9.0 (fantastic multiplayer, although I gotta be honest, I'm not a fan of these piecemeal updates and RPG-like elements they've added since release)
