Not long finished the Demo for GOW III and it is SO amazing!! I cannot wait to get my hands on the final game come March

the environment one from GOW3 looks like concept art

It does really highlight how amazing those PS2 games did look, the later is definitely the best looking thing on PS2

Yeah agreed...looks questionable

Oh yeah, the environment itself doesn't actually look that much better than the old GoWs, but it does have a titan in the background...

It doesn't look all that different really.

Wow, those GoW pics look astonishing. There was another thread in a forum that people were posting images from the Demo, and I've got to say, it looks simply superb. It really shows the evolution that the series has had :)

@lestatdark

while it looks great

the JUMP from GOw 2 to GOW 3 isn't as massive as say the jump in othe rmajor franchises from last gen (FF12 - FF13, MGS3 - MGS4, RE4 to RE5) & so on

I've played the demo, while its technically amazing, the graphics are nothing to go mad about....I can name games out right now that look better

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

@darth

You're right about it not being a massive jump, mainly due to the PS2 games looking excedenly well for starters, thus we don't notice that much of a graphical jump. What really gets me though is the entire physics of the game, the tissue ripping mechanism and the overall anti aliasing of the game.
