Forums - Sony - those new ps3 logos

as you guys know, reson, intelligences, and logic are the underlying factors in posts that i make.

this one is a big one guys.. this one is one that i cannot turn my back on and just ignore. this is an outrage, and i cant believe that sony actually went through with this.

this is what i am going to do, guys, im going to take a picture of my ps3 collection.. hold on.

 

do you see this collection? this is a damn good collection. (mind you MGS4 was stolen, so lol to that.. one of my friends stole it HAHAH)

anyways, i really want to play this game called uncharted 2. i have the first one and really liked it, so i want to play the second one.. i go to GameStop, find the game, and look at the spine.

come to find out, it is going to be the biggest outcast in my collection.. here, let me show you guys.

(this isn't a pic of my collection, i got it off of the internet.. but this is a pic of what IT COULD POTENTIALLY LOOK LIKE, AND I DONT WANT TO DEAL WITH IT!!!)

 

what the fuck? should i jsut not buy uncharted 2? thats what its looking like to me, fellas.

 

sigh.. im glad i always sold nintendo games new and sony/m$ games used.

Whoa, that is kinda hideous. I think it's uglier than the red New SMB Wii spine. At least that will have the same font, even though the color's wrong. This is just all kinds of gross. It doesn't even read the same way, so now it's sideways.

Funny how so many of the games have the PS3 logo's red box a different size too, but at least they're trying. At least those MATCH.

Uncharted 2 just has a butt-ugly spine though. What's with all these developers ruining the spines of their most beautiful games?

I say rent it or borrow it, or print out a new cover for the game. Or burn Naughty Dog to the ground.

because everyone hates when they go to buy something from a Gamestop or EB and the cashier lets his own bias make him give you suggestions you don't want or scoff at what you decided to buy.  That's you.

you're letting your own bias affect how you deal with this thread. you didn't really respond to it, you just assumed it was stupid because you disagree with angrypoolman selling nintendo products new

Hahah, indeed. And I thought current threads like "Did the price cut really helps the PS3 and the Wii? Or its just temporary?" or "Honest question do you think we're in twilight of this current generation?" were dumb.

but yea, i am dissappointed that nintendo is participating in this nonsense as well. but i am goign to buy NSMBWii anyway. i dont know about uncharted 2 though yet.

I disagree with him letting his own bias affect how he sells things to customers (always a bad idea) and I disagree with the idea of skipping a fantastic game just because of a ridiculous aesthetic reason.  Do I really need to make a whole big discussion about how silly it is to skip a fantastic game because you don't like the game's spine?  Am I to believe that if SMG had a different spine he would've skipped that as well?  Somehow I doubt it.
