My friend told me years ago that it stood for peace or something. They used to put that symbol on their front door every Diwali.

For me it would depend on the angle it was on.

If its a slanted swastika then I would understand a warning then ban. If it's a vertical swastika then I would think a ban would be harsh. The 45 degree swastika isn't that common outside of Nazism really.

On Topic. It should NOT be bannable to have a swastika in the sig. Its all part of freedom of speech. If you choose to be a douche and put it in your sig then thats your right.

If you want to get technical, the Swastika is a sacred Hindu symbol. The Nazi symbol is called a Hakenkreuz.

Anyway. I remember one guy had a Hitler avatar once, but he didn't get banned... However, he did get banned for being extremely racist and anti-semitic.

But to answer your question, I don't think you will be banned unless people complain about having a swastika in your sig. But if you do be prepared to make a lot of enemies, that's all I'm saying.

I'm assuming you mean swastika, as in "not a manji" or "not a Hindu religious sign". I assume you mean the "Das Fuhrer" swastika. If this is indeed the case, I'd have to answer the question with another question: WHY? Why would you want that?

To be fair, that was the only anti-Semitic post he ever made. He was a troll, yes, but I suppose it wasn't until the inevitable mention of Judaism that he was banned.

Please note that I am not a Hitler supporter. He was a monster. There is just something awesome about somebody having a Hitler avatar. A little like those subtitled clips from Downfall.
