yeah the first sin and punishment never did well as well, but i think sin and punishment 2 will beat the first sin and punishment in sales

Plus, if you are saying that the DS's successor makes no sense, then you must know something we don't.

HISTORICALLY NINTENDO STOPPED PRODUCING GAMES FOR THEIR PLATFORMS RIGHT BEFORE THE LAUNCH OF THEIR NEXT ONE.

THERE ARE NO MORE GAMES ANNOUNCED FOR THE DS NEXT YEAR, EVEN IN JAPAN. Can you understand it now that it is in caps?

Golden Sun 3 is the only game coming out. Last year, at this time we already knew about multiple games coming out for the DS, now we only have one upcoming game. And it's no coincidence that after DQVI there are no more DS games announced from SE.

I did quote the wrong post...But you still awnsers your own question..Why no announcements for Ds in Japan and I will awnser with something you said earlier why hype none major franchise games..... In other words the games that are coming are not major franchise so why hype...just like you said...

Check at the amount of games the DS got from Nintendo themselves in 2006, 2007, 2008 and now 2009. Do you see a pattern?

If you are going to use Wikipedia as a source I would recommend you to check game by game, not look at that terrible list they have set up. 2009 saw way less games than 2008, and if that's an indication, 2010 will be way smaller, considering we only have 1 game announced for next year.

I'm not using wikipedia as my source but if one to use wikipedia here al list of Nintendo publish games by year 2008=2009 in number of releases..with 2009 not being completed yet notice the new zelda not being on the list.... Wikipedia is mixed bag when it comes to information I try to avoid it when it comes large list of information

Wow at the sales of Bayonetta...360 is doing really well to do half the tally for PS3 in Japan. That's a shocker...

Why are people surprised at Tekken 6 when Tekken 4 got 350k lifetime there and Tekken 5 has 320k...

Tekken sales was hurt because of the delays. The arcade version was out for almost a year now. A lot of people have already played it to death and playing it on arcade is a lot more fun than playing on console IMO.

360 owners = hardcore gamer that may know bayonetta seems superior on 360 (and may possess the 2 consoles)...
