Well i played the clank demo and there is no way that was running at a constant 60FPS, the game had slowdowns all over the place. But i never noticed any in ToD when i played that game, so maybe its just some sort of bug with the demo.

Sucks to hear. I've barely played any of Insomniac's games, but I did play a demo of R&C Tools of Destruction from PSN. The game looked freggin great, largely due to the 60fps. I've always been the type to favor performance over graphics (on my PC games, for example).

The one thing the two highest selling shooters have in common are ultra low latency controls. Halo 3 has about the lowest latency controls possible with 30fps and Call of Duty is a solid 60 fps. No multiplayer shooter has come close, yet no multiplayer shooter is as smooth as those two franchises.

Oh, and nobody pointed out how incredibly rigged that poll was. There's no option for "I prefer 60fps," there's only "30fps is cool" and "60fps or no buy!"

If one assumed that since they like 60fps best, they may as well roll with the latter choice (since it isn't true, this number would be smaller than it otherwise would have been), the guy calls you a big fat liar.

edit: That, or they assume the poll was directed at people who do not represent the masses. Basically, it's impossible for the 60fps crowd to "win" that poll. Seriously, that poll is meaningless, it was merely a tool to excuse a decision they had already made.

Eh, as long as the framerate is steady in the ~30 range, it doesn't really bother me.

Honestly I'm not that concerned with framerates. I'm one of the few people that loved Two Worlds on the 360.

However, load times drive me friggin nuts. Practically killed Fable 2 for me.
