Here's your mistake: it's all about 3rd parties as well... Nintendo can't sustain the Wii momentum with their 1st party line-up ONLY...
It reminds me another discussion we had earlier this week: i was tellin' you that as long as the best multiplatform games can't be released on Wii just as on PS360, Wii wouldn't be a "real" market leader, and that the momentum could disappear just as fast as it has appeared...
You didn't want to believe me, and now that even the biggest heads in the company admit it, you're still refusing to face the truth... and you tell us there's "too much stupidity in this thread"? Easy to blame (or even insult) all the people who don't agree with your narrow-mindness...
Back on topic: of course, Nintendo could release even more games all by themselves... but when a game like Zelda now takes easily 3 or 4 years to be made, and with one of their biggest teams, it won't happen, they just can't do it... unless they create more teams, or hire hundreds of new talents... or buy some 2nd party, or do partnerships with some of the best 3rd parties... they have to MOVE, and be creative with all their past profits...
In the meantime, what is needed is a more powerful hardware, a kind of "Wii+", to convince 3rd parties that all their games have to be released on Wii as well... as long as the Wii will be considered as a totally different market, in a niche of its own, where expensive and exclusive efforts won't do profits, the situation will not miraculously change: the console needs more AAA games, 1st party PLUS 3rd party... that's all...
