Forums - Nintendo - White Harvest / Factor 5 closed?

If its true that PilotWings and RogueSquadron are both completed then I am pretty upset at LucasArts and Nintendo for not getting these games to store shelves. One of my favorite GameCube games was RogueSquadron:RogueLeader and based on Factor5's history of AAA+ games I'm pretty sure both titles are up to snuff quality wise. Nintendo and LucasArts are probubly just avoiding a gamble but Nintendo could use every AAA+ game they can get and same goes for LucasArts!

Hope they resolve that. Pilotwings is something i really want after the Airplane game in Sports Resort.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

They abandoned Nintendo, such is the fate of all companies that do, I mean when was the last time people were really interested in a Silicon Knights or Rare game?

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

I never really noticed that but yeah. Sure seems like companies that leave Nintendo don't seem to fair so well. Did you also notice that all three companies pretty much jumped ship for the similar concepts. More power.

Ye gods, that Superman game looked awesome (never mind Pilotwings!) and it breaks my Supes-lovin' heart that we'll never play it!

It implies that Nintendo had a heavy hand in their success.  Not surprising.  Look at how much impact Miyamoto had on Retro's concept of Metroid Prime.

No Miyamoto to come in and flip the table over
