no i said i "Saw" it.
did you guys play it to actually claim that its technically impressive?
Natal's tech looks cool, but not for gaming.
That video of the girl hitting the balls with her whole body looks like torture. Like the most un-fun.. impossible bullshit ever.
who wants to race by holding their hands out in front of them... not me unless i am actually holding a wheel.
Natal does not imitate realism through motion.. it simulates nothing, it is an alternate way to create games that is unlike anything else.
without anything tangible or tactile, it seems like playing games will literally digress into waving your hands around in the air like an idiot.
Natal does seem cool for facial recognition, menu navigation and very basic gameplay elements of games, but you know what will happen is a good game will integrate both standard controls with natal. seems cool but when i am holding the controller, then i have to set it down to twirl my hands around to play halo reach, i think i might scream
its all just a wait and see at this point. It has proved nothing yet though which is why i am being overly critical about it.
Seems like a mis-management of resources by Microsoft imo, and nobody asked for this. MS is telling us what we want. I do have to give kudos to MS for trying something real for a change, this sort of creative passion and resource devotion is more typical to something Sony would do.

Do you even understand what you're talking about? One can look at tech and see the potential, but you can't sit here and tell me the latency was to great on a piece of equipment that you never touched... you can tell me that so-and-so said that it was to great, but don't sit here and act like you know these things to be fact... not to mention the hardware is almost a year out from it's current form.
@ultraslick No one asked for the Wii either and we can all see the dominance it has shown. Catering to the few idiots who are so "hardcore" they can hardly see fun if it smashed them in the face isn't going to get Microsoft anywhere except 50 million consoles after 10 years. And you would be angry if you had to use basic squad control maneuvers to control your allies in Halo: Reach? That seems borderline retardation... why would you get angry at more immersion?

are you talking to yourself?
cause you are the one who is saying the tech is impressive and im the one that saying they didn't show anything yet to make it "Impressive"
