PS2's Birthday and i missed the start of the party!?

November 20th will be it's full Worldwide 9th Birthday.

I think i will make a thread, and i expect it to be almost as awesome as the one in my sig.

I'll miss the PS2 when its gone, truly one of the greatest systems ever.

It still has about 3 years left though, this soldier is still healthy and running.

I still remember when I frist brought it home my Jaw dropped at Crazy Taxi and how smooth it was. Then came GTA III and pretty much delivered the final blow to the competition in 2001.

I like that even when it was very late in it's life it still gave me one of my all time favorite games God of War 2 in 2007.

I can't believe it's been 9 years. Crazy Taxi was one of my early favorites too, along with FFX. People have said that Persona 4 is the last great game for the system. I wonder if we'll get at least one more good AAA title out of it before it's discontinued?

Damn the best console ever is in its last year (of being supported by Sony). I wonder if it can make it to 150 mil before it dies.

2010 holiday they should just give the rest of them away, would be a happy giveaway for its last holiday.

Unbelievable that the PS2 is 9 years old. It'll be 10 next year....where did the time go? Such an amazing platform. It's son has a huge legacy to match. I'm glad to say PS3 is finally living up to that ambitious goal of at least matching it's daddy.

PS2 was a horrible console. Difficult to program for, under powered compared to the other 2, not reliable until the 3-4th year of production, no online support until late in the gen...

But it had the best games...
