why does Mickey look like the same Mickey from 1960?? as oppose to the Mickey you see in KH series? No offense to all the hardcore Mickey fans. but the old one is just plain CREEPY.

as an platform action games (probably some puzzles too), why does it look a billion times worse than 2 year old Mario Galaxy game? I know i know, I'm using the best game on wii for comparison. but why not? Not to mention Galaxy is 2 years old!

I'm sticking with my prediction that this game will flop

That's the point. The idea is to revigorize a character that for a long time has been a boy scout. It's time to get Mickey back to his roots..... like in this cartoon:

PS: Nomura should burn in hell for all the eternity for doing this

Because they wanted to use classic Mickey for this to reinvigorate the character and bring him to his roots and not the kiddy stuff Disney do with him now. Before, Mickey was more of a hero and more mishcievous. They're using a lot of classic things for this game.

And it doesn't look that good now because the game is still early in development as the dude who gave impressions said. The game's a year off still.

You haven't kept up much with this game, I see.

but to go for a dark, non-kiddy look Mickey for Wii instead of a cutie adorable looking one? Is that really smart marketing wise?


Games on Wii can sell based on character themselves, look no further than Mario and Sonic. I personally believe Disney made a horrible mistake to make this exclusive. No doubt they will soon realize and blame Wii owners for this (which will be sad day for gamers)

Then they'd have an inferior version. For a game that's supposed to be a change for the whole company, there's no reason not to make it as quality as possible and creating divides isn't good. So they just went Wii exclusive because the gameplay would benefit and because the Wii sells Disney titles a lot anyway, and is also the #1 console.

just cause its the number sellin console dont means its the best one of them alll

I realize that this is not a popular opinion here on VGChartz, but I for one simply find it difficult to enjoy "top-notch" third party games on the Wii compared to the PS360. I use the phrase top-notch loosely, as even the most anticipated Wii exclusives that are given high budgets and massive hype don't tend to score or sell nearly as well as similarly hyped and developed games on the HD platforms.

Perhaps this game will be different (sales wise at least) as it is a Mickey game from Disney, but we'll just have to see I guess.

this is the first one, so how was it possible for you to "expect to enjoy them" when there weren't any?!!

I think Monster Hunter 3 fits that category, but it is only released in Japan.




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
