The last vid you show just shows how wrong forza does it but i think it best i stop posting because i will get a ban

looks very similar to the roll overs on GTAIV imo.. whether it's right or wrong I guess.. will always be debatab

I agree, I recently started playing gta4 again and I got to say it has just as good physics as FM3 maybe not on the tires but the rolls are as good and it has even better damage modeling.

I actually find it funny that someone can even notice something like the tyre deformation...shouldn't you be watching the cars in front rather than your tires. :D

The game looks great for a racing sim though, I've watched some vids from youtube.

watching vids...

That was my point in a previous post.  It was implemented more for the simulation aspects.

Honestly that would just be so awesome.

From the reviews it seems like this game can't get much better outside of more cars and better graphics. But do we really need 1000 cars? lol.

With some new features it can easily...Track editor for example.

It depends on how they do it I guess. PGR track editor was underwhelming to say the least.

If it was a full out forge style editor it would be pretty sweet.

I'm gonna have to stick to open world enviroment because I love Test Drive Unlimited just for it

Blackfriday ads are being leaked supposedly Forza will be $40 at Sears which means Amazon will match. I have a feeling someone will even go lower. Thank God my Wife is off that day.

It's just that simple.

this game looks better and better. Ill be picking it up very soon. see you guys then!

some guy just posted a comparison pic on GT, and it said "Fake reflections" for GT5P??? Anyhow, nice thread =D

A lot of physics majors in here, and people who have experienced real life roll-overs. Impressive.

You Sir fail for two reasons.

1. You don't have to major in physics to have an understanding of tyre deformation, this isn't rocket science after all ;)

2. IF you were unfortunate enough to be in a real life roll-over i doubt you would be able to recall exactly what happened to your car.  A much better way to see a real roll-over is by watching a rally or nascar roll-over, of which there are COUNTLESS video's on youtube.

Thanks to all of these threads, I got Forza 3, and it is the best racing game of any kind that I have ever played. And I havent even played that much of it yet.
Selnor, this game is great.
imo turn 10 are a bunch of a-holes, and GT will probably be better... but Forza 3 is king... as of now.

Looks nice, though I'm not sure if this game has the best physics ever. I expected something little more chaotic and more damage to the cars. :/

something like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVTJfzk8_7Q

have you seen the monstruous jump that the car has done ?

that is why the damage are so big in your video
