Will next week's PES 2008 boost hardware? How much?

Microsoft has substantially less to worry about then Sony obviously does in the other regions. They have two million more consumers under their belt first off. Thats more money in the short term, and they had a rather decent run unlike what Sony apparently is looking at. A price cut, Bioshock, and Halo 3 held their sales high for quite some time. A shame to see the 360 at those levels, but they are respectable.

Actually the Sony fans should take heart the charts received a revision for last weeks numbers. The Wii actually remained on top, and the PS3 only saw a fifteen percent drop in sales. That is actually wonderful news I recall Microsoft was predicting a similar trend to the summer where Sony was ceding twenty seven percent decreases in sales week after week. So the console is doing better then the competition expected. Thank goodness for small miracles.

PES 08 bundle is released here in Greece for 450 Euros (40GB version). I think it will perform tremendously and outsell even DS for one or two weeks. Europe goes nuts for PES just like US for Madden. And probably worse.

PES bundle is going to push PS3 above 170k weekly sales? Or are you just talking about Greece?

I'm glad the sales of the PS2 are so strong, it is by far the best system ever made and has the best line-up ever put forth on a console.

Well, obivously most people are still gonna buy PES for the ps2.. so i really don't see it happening going above wii sales again, you are overestimating PES.

Does anyone know exactly how much marketing and recognition the PES'08 + 40GB PS3 bundle is getting?

Are we talking around the 100k level, or are the sales expected to be considerably lower than that?
