Forums - Nintendo - I am not ashamed to make this statement; I want everyone to know

okok your logic is the 5 years apart cycle of nintendo consoles and november beacuse that has been the launch date of the past systems mmmmmmmmm interesting
it could be possible beacuse, but i dont know, the wii has been a monster in sales, in the other hand the gamecube was third last gen and the N64 was 2nd with "poor" sales in compare.

We´ll just wait and see, also if they release the new console then in the 11-11 i think they will keep selling wiis (like sony did with ps2) and Ninty will have the new console along side.

Wanna bet 5 Wiiware games?

But two years from now... maybe i won't be here anymore, or i won't care if something bad happens... the economy, the ecology, whatever... you know...

But if we're both still here, and if you're really serious and if i may trust you, then no problem: there should be many great Wiiware games released by the end of 2011, the winner will have some choice... and i'll be the winner, for sure... :)

How about 1000 wii points? if I win, you send me 1000 wii points, and if you win, ill send you 1000 wii points. (dont really know what the demands of these are going to be like after the new nintendo releases, but lets just go with it.)

and i cant be betting wii points with a bunch of people

That's OK... when we'll officially know the launch date, or by november 2011, the loser will send 1000 points to the winner...

My first bet ever on VGC... yeah!  :)

and an ugly drawing in 1080p will stay ugly forever..."

OH, this is for 2011?
I could see this happen in 2010 myself

Uh, what month in 2010? ^

THAT seems early.

I believe it's coming out November 2010 and it will include blu-ray and have hd versions of at least one of these titles as a launch title: Metroid: Other M, Epic Mickey, Mario Galaxy 2, and / or the next Zelda Console title.

It will be fully backwards compatable with the original Wii (and maybe Gamecube), but it won't have a version of one of the big casual titles released until it has been on the market over a year because it will be used to attract the hardcore crowd more than the casuals initially, and Nintendo will try to keep the casuals happy with the original Wii (and accept trade-ins of original Wiis towards Wii 2's purchase to send original Wiis back out to the casual market).

It won't be officially announced in any capacity until E3 2010 (it will steal all the hype from natal), and be released a couple of months later. Probably late October or November 2010.

I don't think they will try to attract any casuals to this console until November 2011 when Wii Sports 3 will be released.

So Wii Sports 3 could be released in November 2011.

You have been reading the other thread by the look of it. I can't see this happening at all. I think they will concentrate on the Wii for a few years yet. Can't see anything being done to counter Natal unless Nintendo feels they need to.

DON'T WIN ME CHIBI BUDDY DON'T WIN ME.

ANIMAL CROSSING NEW LEAF FRIEND CODE:- 5129 1175 1029. MESSAGE ME.
ANDY MURRAY:- GRAND SLAM WINNER!

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!

I have come out of a deep meditative vision. I will now give my predictions.

Next year cars will run on gasoline. I also predict that we will be able to travel to different lands by wings and a new Wii revision will come out in fall next year. Oct 13. Mark my words I am write. I am also not taking bet's on any of my vision claims.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

I would also like to qualify my statement by saying that is what Nintendo needs to do if they want to capture the other 50% of the videogame market that isn't interested in Wii.

it seems we have another gay guy on the site. welcome to the gay crowd Kingofwale :P

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

The next nintendo console will not have bluray.
