So back in 2006 my whole collection went up in a house fire, I've spent the better part of the past few years trying to restore that collection slowly, the crowning jewel of my collection however was my copy of Earthbound, still had the players guide and box that came with it, not in mint condition since I am a collector that plays his collection but it was all in VERY good condition.

I spent much time tracking down a reasonable priced Earthbound copy, shifting through many used game store collections, pawn shops, yard sales, etc.  Then about a month ago the topic came up between me and a few of my friends I met through work and it turns out one of them has two copies of Earthbound and I'm buying his near mint condition copy for the whopping price of 40 bucks Friday, I must say I'm overjoyed :)

Yeah, it's not a big deal, my gaming collection can be replaced (for a hefty price since I owned some rare ones) but life cannot, only thing I really lost in the fire was my dog, material things will just be replaced over time.

I'm so glad I found this copy cause he knocked off 10 dollars from his original asking price, and is going through his collection to see if he still has the players guide that it came with (pure awesome!) both of those for 40 bucks is a damn near steal.

Your dog died, that's so sad. I couldn't imaging losing my dogs like that.

There might be but he is a mod, he can get away with it....

My dog died waking up my stepdad saving his life so I'm proud of him and try not to be sad.

My title is on topic though I guess it could have been a bit more detailed I wasn't trying to rope people in just talk about finally finding a copy of earthbound :P
